How We Work.

New to PQ.

If you are new to PQ please complete the form via the ‘enquire now’ button at the top of this page. From there a team member at PQ will get in touch with you to discuss possible day care options.

All dogs that attend PQ must be socialised and show no signs of aggression to both other doggies or humans. Spaces are available depending on size of the dog (because of crate space in our vans) and the location of pickup.

Due to high demand and limited spaces in the PQ vans we require each dog to visit a minimum of once a week so that we can secure the space. We prefer this to be the same day each week although we may be able to offer some flexibility on this if discussed with a team member.

If you do not require a regular weekly visit then you can book on an ad-hoc basis – please note that we cannot guarantee availability for these bookings and they can only be booked up to 1 month in advance.

We also offer a drop in service from 10am – 3.30pm – this is a flexible service with regular availability. It can be booked both in advance and the day before.

Telephone Consult.

All new customers require a telephone conversation to determine the suitability of your dog visiting PQ, during this phone call we will run you though how we work, how to set up on our system,  and answer any further questions you have. We will also agree on the day/s your dog will be visiting PQ.

Booking Your Dogs First Day.

Providing your dog is suitable to visit PQ we will book their first visit – this is a trial day so you must be contactable throughout the whole day and be prepared to collect your pooch  if they do not settle in well, although this rarely happens!

Future Bookings.

Now that your dogs trial day has been successful, we will input your agreed bookings onto your account one month at a time. If you are an ad-hoc customer or would like to change any bookings, please email to request. Please note your “drivers” holiday dates and prepare for no day care during this time.

Cancellations, Holiday & Late Payment Rules.

If you no longer require us to look after your dog we ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice – you will be charged full price if cancellation is made within 24 hours.

A reservation fee will be charged if you cancel your dogs agreed visits for over two weeks within the same month. You will be charged 50% of your normal rate - this will ensure your dogs space is secured for when they return. These charges do not apply if your pooch is being neutered / spayed or if your dog’s time off coincides with your drivers.

Any customers that do not fulfil their agreed booking slot for two weeks in a row without notifying us of holiday will automatically go onto our ad-hoc list. You will then need to email info@pawquarters.co.uk to enquire about availability.

Late payment fee - All payments must be made by Sunday evening for the following weeks bookings. This can be made through the payment request email sent on Thursdays or by logging onto your profile. There will be an automatic charge to your profile of £1 per day until payment is made. We advice you to pay monthly or set reminders if you feel you may forget each week. Any cash payments to be left out the morning of day care.
